Terms & Conditions

These general terms apply to every offer by RetaEU and to every agreement concluded through this shop. You accept them explicitly by ticking the box provided when placing an order or creating an account. We record which version you accepted and when.

The declaration on your first visit (18 or older, research use only) gives access to the shop and its prices. It is not an acceptance of these terms and not a consent to marketing.

All products offered through this platform are designated Research Use Only (RUO). Products are strictly intended for laboratory research purposes only and are not intended for human or animal consumption. Products are not approved for medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, veterinary, or other clinical applications.

No information provided on this website should be interpreted as medical advice, treatment guidance, or a recommendation for personal use. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that products are purchased solely for legitimate research purposes.

Visitors can view the shop and its prices after confirming the entry declaration on their first visit (18 or older, research use only); a verified account is not required for that. You can order as a guest or with an account.

By ordering or creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you buy products exclusively for legitimate research purposes and that the information you provide is accurate and current.

RetaEU reserves the right to request additional verification or documentation at any time to confirm compliance. Accounts may be restricted, suspended or terminated if eligibility requirements are not met or if inaccurate information is provided.

All orders submitted through the platform are subject to review and acceptance. Submitting an order does not guarantee fulfillment. Orders may be delayed, modified or declined for compliance, security, availability or operational reasons; any payment already made is then refunded.

Product availability, pricing, specifications and descriptions may change without notice. A change does not apply to an order you have already placed.

All prices are in euro. Before placing your order you see the total price, including shipping and any discount; that is the amount you pay. The prices in the shop apply to every visitor.

You pay by bank transfer within the payment period shown with your order, quoting your order number. We confirm receipt manually and ship afterwards. If the payment is not received within that period, the order lapses. If we offer another payment method at checkout, the payment service provider concerned processes that payment.

Shipping availability may vary depending on destination, product requirements and compliance considerations. Shipping is primarily available within Europe, while certain international orders may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Your statutory rights in case of late delivery remain unaffected.

If you buy as a consumer, the risk of loss or damage only passes to you once the parcel has been delivered to you or to a person you designated. For business buyers the risk passes on handover to the carrier.

You agree not to misuse the platform or products, including but not limited to:

• Using products for human or animal consumption
• Using products outside legitimate research purposes
• Providing false information during account registration or verification
• Attempting to bypass account restrictions or security measures
• Reselling products without prior authorization

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to RetaEU and may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RetaEU shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this platform or products purchased through it.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights if a product does not conform to the agreement.

As a consumer you have a 14-day cooling-off period. How it works and when it does not apply (sealed products whose seal you broke after delivery) is set out in our withdrawal and returns policy. Your statutory rights for defective, incorrect or damaged products always remain.

If you have a complaint about an order or product, report it as soon as possible to info@retaeu.nl with your order number and a description. We aim to respond in substance within 14 days.

We only send newsletters and offers if you have given separate, voluntary consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every e-mail or in your account.

These terms and every agreement with RetaEU are governed by Dutch law. As a consumer you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

We may change these terms. An order is governed by the version you accepted when ordering; a new version only applies to later orders and account actions. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
